Main
Goal
Pain
Points
tedious and inconvenient sign-up process
Many apps require a lengthy identification process with numerous questions, verification by unavailable people, which creates discomfort and delays the quick response needed in an emergency.
"Venus" solves this problem by offering a simple, accessible, and fast process. The verification only requires minimal details, avoiding complicated questions or waiting for approvals, which ensures users can feel secure and act quickly.
This is an important solution, as a long and complicated process can create frustration and discomfort, especially in emergency situations.
Feeling unsafe when walking alone or in uncomfortable situations
Venus connects you with nearby women who can support and respond quickly.
No immediate solution in case of danger or discomfort
One-tap emergency alerts notify nearby women for instant help.
Identifying the Market Need: Initially, it was important to understand the real need for a technological solution in the safety field for women. This may have involved interviews with women, surveys, or an exploration of existing problems in other apps in the field to understand the limitations and unmet needs.
Reviewing Existing Apps: As you mentioned earlier, a study of existing apps in the field was conducted. The research focused on processes like user identification, user experience, ease of use, and whether these apps provide an efficient and fast solution for emergency situations.
Identifying User Pain Points: At this stage, the focus was on identifying the pain points and obstacles users face in existing apps – understanding which processes are considered uncomfortable or burdensome, such as the tedious sign-up and verification process.

The name Venus perfectly connects the app’s concept with its purpose. As the Goddess of Love and Beauty, Venus symbolizes female strength, connection, and support, just like the app is designed to provide security and reassurance for women, evoking a sense of empowerment and femininity. At the same time, Venus is also the Evening Star, shining brightly in the night sky, just as the app serves as a guiding light and a source of safety during dark hours, making it especially fitting for supporting women at night. Additionally, the name is short, memorable, and internationally recognizable, making it ideal for global branding and marketing. By combining strength, safety, and universal appeal, Venus is the perfect name for an app that empowers and protects women everywhere.
